Check in for most airlines commences 4-hours before the published departure time. Please check your ticket or contact your airline for your specific checking-in time.

As a general guide from Ghana Airports Company Ltd;

	International Flights – Check in three (3) hours before departure
	Regional Flights – Check in two hours (2) before departure.
	Domestic Flights – Check in one hour prior to departure.

Fast Track: KIA-Accra has a Fast Track Services reserved for first and business class travelers for departures and arrivals. This provides priority  check-in, immigration & customs formalities.

Self service check-in: More and more airlines are looking to 'self service' check-in both online and off-line. KLM offers self service check-in kiosk at the Kotoka International Airport. This is recommended for business travelers and those passengers who travel light. Always check with your airline when in doubt.

Which gate am I flying from? We strongly advise you that you check your departure gate at the check-in counter. Alternatively, keep your eyes on the flight information monitors located at vantage points at the airport. Again, when in doubt, proceed to airport information desk.
